What a great idea to give this kind of intel to a country that has worked with Iran over and over.
The Obama administration is leaving open the possibility of giving Moscow certain secret data on U.S. interceptor missiles due to help protect Europe from any Iranian missile strike.
A deal is being sought by Washington that could include classified data exchange because it is in the U.S. interest to enlist Russia and its radar stations in the missile-defense effort, a Pentagon spokeswoman said Tuesday in written replies to Reuters.
No decision has been made yet on whether the United States would offer data about the interceptors' "velocity at burnout," or VBO, said Air Force Lieutenant Colonel April Cunningham, the spokeswoman, but it is not being ruled out.
VBO is at the heart of what Russia wants as the price for its cooperation, said Riki Ellison, head of the private Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance, who has close ties to missile defense and military officials.

Im sure this helped his campaign.
Mitt Romney’s son Matt uttered five words about President Obama while campaigning in Hawaii that you wouldn’t expect from the son of the leading Republican presidential candidate: “I think he is great.”
The younger Romney made the comments in an interview with Hawaii television station KITV4 while campaigning for his dad in the Aloha State, which is holding its election contests Tuesday. (RELATED: Full coverage of the Romney campaign)
Matt Romney will likely tell his dad that he was making a larger point about how Mitt would be a better president.
“I’m not here to talk about President Obama,” Matt said in the television interview. “I think he is great. I’m here to talk about my dad and what he would bring to the country.”

This is disgusting and dangerous to those serving. Especially considering that an Afghan interpreter attempted to ram a truck into marines waiting to meet Panetta. See here.
Hundreds of U.S. Marines were suddenly told Wednesday to leave and return unarmed to a venue where Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was scheduled to speak, according to reports — an unusual move that illustrates the military’s heightened security concerns.
Typically, American forces in Afghanistan have kept hold of their weapons when Panetta addressed them.
But on Wednesday, about 200 Marines were told to take their weapons outside of the large tent at Camp Leatherneck where Panetta spoke and to leave them there, while Afghan troops already were unarmed, as is customary for these events, reports The Associated Press.
The commander on the scene, Sgt. Maj. Brandon Hall, said he was acting on orders from highers-up.
“Something has come to light,” Hall told the troops, according to the wire service. “I was told to get the weapons out.”
“All I know is, I was told to get the weapons out,” he told The New York Times. “Somebody got itchy, that’s all I’ve got to say. Somebody got itchy; we just adjust.”
American officials later said that the order came from the top commander in Helmand province, Maj. Gen. Mark Gurganus.
“You’ve got one of the most important people in the world in the room,” he told the newspaper, insisting that the order had nothing to do with the Sunday’s incident in which an American staff sergeant went door to door in Afghan villages, killing 16.
“This is not a big deal,” Gurganus added.

Imagine that Iran calling for Americas destruction.
This from the The Daily Caller
The head of Iran’s Basij paramilitary force says his country has no choice but to destroy America in order to build an ideal society.
In a video broadcast to Basij members on Feb. 26, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Naqdi said the Islamic regime’s “independence and unhindered advance toward perfection is subject to removing the despotic powers and the Zionists,” referring to America and Israel.
“In every field in which the Islamic Republic of Iran tries to advance,” Naqdi said, “America is there to create obstacles for us. … When we want progress in science, they enforce sanctions and kill our scientists.”
