Apparently the State Department doesn't find it necessary to speak out about this women being persecuted for simply naming a bear Muhammad. My question is does the State Department ever take a stand on any issue when it relates to Muhammad or Islam?
Question: What is the U.S. reaction to the case of the British teacher who faces charges of “insulting Islam” after the primary school class named a teddy bear Mohammed?
We are following the situation of the British teacher closely and with concern. We understand the British government is pursuing this with the Sudanese government directly.

Just in time for the holidays, The Bob McCarty Shop™ announces the arrival of the MY NAME IS MOHAMMED THE BEAR™.
Designed as a keepsake for all the people who think the British school teacher in Sudan (click here to read about her) who named a teddy bear Mohammed is being treated unfairly -- she was originally sentenced to 40 lashes! -- by the Sudanese courts, this soft plush bear features a red bow and t-shirt and measures 11 inches tall.
Makes a great Christmas gift! To order it today, click here!
